History of CR Wado Karate Club

Dan Wallis has been a student of Suzuki Sensei since he joined Wado Ryu karate in Prince George in 1975. After relocating to Campbell River, he opened his own dojo in 1980. The club began meeting in elementary schools, the Eagles Hall and the old Elks hall. Today Dan Wallis has his own dojo. The club also has a non-profit society to help with tournament and clinic participation for students.
